It’s been a huge step forward for Ducati this weekend. Jorge Lorenzo started like a beast and even leaded the race for a while being competitive. However; the Spaniard soon experienced some problems and was held back again… but there are more Ducatis on the grid.
Some weekends are better than others, and having had a long time caged due to winter weather, I finally had a long riding weekend which felt like heaven… and I wasn’t the spectator this time.

Rock, Sky & Sea
When I bought my Kawasaki Vulcan 500, I used to ride along the coast mostly, getting the essence of the marine breeze and the cornering of the Mediterranean coast line. Some time after I decided to get the same route.
The weather was a bit chilly and there was too much wind, but that’s not such a big deal as to have a bad time. It was all the opposite really, it was definitely great fun.
The coast is a winding road which was very used in the past, but a new highway, much bigger, much safer and much less beautiful has made this road feel solitary now, and that is the very best of it.
Tourism has not yet invaded these beautiful beaches, and the only noise mostly heard was the engine of my motorcycle and the sea gulls.
