Beautiful people, beautiful landscapes, beautiful dishes and beautiful lifestyle in our social media, but are we really that beautiful?
Extra Mile: Dirt Jumps on a Harley Davidson
The beautiful people, the beautiful people!
If you’ve followed this blog for a while you’d know I like Instagram. Not so Facebook, which I also use, but I’m not so keen on it. The reasons for using social media can differ from one person to another, the way they’re used not quite so.
Get your best smile
…get your best clothing, get your best picture and show the world how happy you are, even if you’re crying on the inside, just pretend you’re happy and beautiful.
But when we are riding away, we’re not those beautiful people we see on the social media. We’re dirty curs who bark chasing the milk truck.
Reality Vs Expectation
You can be a sharp dressed jedi, or a dirty biker.
…and in any case you’re still the same person on the inside, which is what matters really. I actually prefer to arrive dusty and dirty and sweaty but having had a lot of fun rather than becoming a clean biker who doesn’t really ride much.
But social media pictures are still great for having a look when we’re at the office, and there’s nothing wrong about it as long as it doesn’t control your life.
