…and the 3000th GP goes to Dani Pedrosa 26.
My local MotoGP comes once again, and for personal reasons I couldn’t go this time, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know what’s going on there! I actually received all the info from boxes and from the audience.
After last year’s victory, clearly a Rossi one, there are many people now trying to get over the Italian. Maverick, Marquez, Iannone, and what can I say about Pedrosa, the pole man and willing to be reborn. But surprisingly Jorge Lorenzo got a well deserved third place having made a glorious race.
He’s running at a home track, which always helps, but it seems he would finally get the Ducati tamed after all, if he is to get a third in Jerez, a track where Ducatis have never done too well, it is because of the rider.
Zarco was impressive as riding a satellite Suzuki and fighting that hard also shows the great rider he is. Give him an official bike!!!
Marc Marquez did a great second position, with a great timing, but obviously unable to overtake Pedrosa, and what a weekend for Pedrosa, pole position and total lead of the race. Great GP for Honda.
And Yamaha suffered, neither Maverick nor Rossi could make a good weekend, and it seems it might be a mechanical or maybe a tyre factor which slowed them down this much. Better luck next year guys.
