Why I ride, why I write

I don’t want to sound pessimistic, as I believe I am actually all the opposite. Life has not always been easy, but it’s been good enough to have fun, to love and be loved and for a good time on the roads of the world.

Riding a motorcycle was a dream from childhood years, and it then became a reality. I still remember riding my little moped on dirt roads as dad wouldn’t allow me to ride in open traffic. I was just a boy who dreamt of motorcycles from a very early age.

What I feel when the wind is hitting my face at high speed is total freedom. Is a feeling that for a second I am the most fragile and yet free creature on this planet. Freedom is always closer to death than security, but we do not think of that, we only flow.

The reason why I tell my stories on this blog afterwards is simple, I am also free of doing that and to show the world my little contribution. I am just a humble servant of this Army, and living life is my duty.

See you on the road.
